Wrong tablet
I thought I was buying a Surface PRO 3 and not just a Surface 3. The Surface 3 isn't worth the price of replacing the cracked screen.

The best geek gadget in years!
HP's giant marketing mistake was a giant boon to geekdom. It made available to those who favour "tinkering" over "snob appeal" a tablet that rivals the Ipad in tech specs at about 20% of the cost. Moreover, with HP releasing "source code" for TP's innards, it allows users to take advantage of the "open source" communities vast array "tinkering tools". Unlike Ipad owner, who are tied hand and foot to Apple, TP owner are able to use "stuff" from a myriad of sources.
I've only had my TP for a few weeks, but already I have added the ability to run Android Gingerbread OS, while maintaining webOS. This in turn opened up the vast Android Market with its hundreds of thousand application. I haven't chosen to install Ice Cream Sandwich yet, but my fellow geeks have alpha versions of it running.
And that's not to mention those who have native Linux up and running. Apple lovers may rave about the "leading edge technology" of the Ipad but us TP lovers have something they'll NEVER have. It's called CHOICE!!

Replace a Galaxy Tab S2
2 of 2 found this helpful My Galaxy Tab SM-T810 was much more expensive with specs to match. But the longer battery life of the T580 impressed me enough to give it a try. Very happy I did. Have since sold the T810 for a lot more than I paid for the T580 and the only time I notice the change is when I DON'T have to connect my power pack.
