541341 Replacement Ear Pads Earpad for Sennheiser PX200 PXC150 PXC250 PMX200
02 August 2017
This one really works.
This is one of the better quality non-OEM ear pad for the Sennheiser PX200 series headphones. It has some stitched reforcement that secure the pad preventing it from falling off. It is comfortable. No data on how long it lasts yet. At this price, you can afford a few spares. I tried others which kept falling off because the thin rubber ring had no integrity.
Denon TU-1500RD AM/FM Stereo Tuner

Excellent audio quality and RF sensitivity
The TU-1500RD is a very popular tuner to FM DXer with RDS capability and an optional remote control. RF performance is wonderful, and changing the four IF filters for better selectivity is very easy. In wide mode it uses two of the filters, and in narrow mode it uses all four [two of which have a fairly narrow 180 kHz bandwidth. The tuner handles my high-RF environment (less than five miles from two 100,000-watt FM stations) better than most tuner. When you open the TU-1500RD, most of the components are surface-mounted on the 'underside' of the circuit board. There are very few components mounted on the 'top' of the circuit board. The tuner does not automatically switch from narrow to wide IF mode while tuning, but it does have selectable Auto/Manual tuning mode. I always run mine in manual because in auto it wants to scan to the next fairly strong signal it finds, which is annoying. In manual, it tunes normally in 100 kHz steps, but in manual mode it won't do stereo. You must switch to AUTO to receive stereo boardcast. The audio quality is excellent. The real fun, of course, is the RDS display built in. Sonics-wise, nothing really jumped out at me, it was pleasant and non-fatiguing. Soundstage had very good depth, bass was very natural-sounding without being obnoxious or overly boomy, highs were a little laid back, but the detail and clarity is excellent. Overall I'd say the sensitivity of this tuner seem to outweigh any sonic deficiencies there might be because you can hear more stations better than before. The tuning knob works just like an analog tuner does in manual mode, except in 'Auto' it will scan until it finds the next station. It doesn't change from narrow to wide mode automatically either, but will stay in either mode when searching.

One of the best 2-way bookshelf loudspeaker for the money
Ventage Celestion sound. Very smooth freqency reponse and a sweet sounding high frequency. Do not expect very deep bass from the 6.5" woofer, but competent in bass compared to other similar sized speaker. The bass sound is tight and not the loosy, boomy type. I use them with subwoofer, but the subwoofer is no necessary to enjoy it. It has very good sound stage. The symphony orchestra is spreaded across the room beyond the speakers themselver. The sound stage is very satisfying and the best among the speakers I owe, including NHT Super One, Celestion Ditton 100, Mission 700 and Minimus 7. I drive the DL4 with a 100 WPC MOSFET amplifier. It has no problem taking it and did not sound breaking up at higher sound level. Both the drivers and crossover hold up extremely well over more than 20 years. It used high quality Allcap capacitors in the crossover which still sounded good. But I replace them with same valued Solem solely because of age. It is not the Celestion SL6 type sound. The drivers are different and so are the cabinet construction. The 12 dB/octave crossover match well with the driver to give the sound I described above. I am very happy with my purchase and it is used as the front speaker in one of my sound systems.
