SHOEI NEOTEC II MODULAR MOTORCYCLE HELMET SPLICER TC-6 LARGE 0116-1106-06

Another Shoei success, with a small complaint
As most of you will know, if you are a motorcycle rider, different helmet manufacturers don't always fit your head. I have tried many over the years and keep coming back to Shoei. Not only because the shape of my head seems compatible with their design but also due to the high quality of that design and manufacture. This one of no exception. Well made, nicely fitting with the only complaint being the chin strap. They have dropped the use of the two metal links and gone to a snap in type which is just too short. I have it adjusted out as far as it will go and it still seems to bite into my chin. Otherwise, highly recommended.

    What if...
While I am an avid reader of Sci-Fi and have been for years, I also like a good detective novel on occasion. I've read some of Gene Wolfe's work before and know of him as a well thought out Sci-Fi writer of great detail. This novel combines both genres in a compelling murder mystery set in a future not too far out that seems wholly plausible. It also mixes in some compelling thoughts on the social impact of cloning and human rights. Not in a preachy way but quite subtlety that works with the story line. What if you could go to a library and 'check-out' an expert in electronics if you were trying to rewire your stereo and couldn't figure it out? What if he or she was actually for all intents and purposes a human, but since they were a clone, they were property of the library? Would you check out an expert on murder mysteries if you were trying to solve one? Maybe...
