Barking Mad Doggie...
My new dog - a Bull Arab Pup would bark at anything - shadows - trees rustling in a breeze and of course the occasional strange person walking past in the night - - NOT an ideal situation really.
Since the collar was put on her she very soon learned to not betray her location - after all surprise is an advantage for a guard dog - so to date her training has proven to being of a really good experience for both her - and myself - and while I really prefer to work by a reward system, my broken ankle also appreciates the more strict training for her.
The one fault the system has is the rather poor battery life in the receiver which gives out conflicting signals when it has lost charge - but apart from that it works far better than I expected.......

A random tool package purchase ..............
Decided to do some work on my car at home - but really needed one specific new tool and then discovered that I had other uses for others in the pack - AND it came in their own blow moulded case {tools do have a tendency to "get lost" many times} - but for a change the quality of the individual tools were quite good and somewhat cheaper and better than some of the local offerings - but like all tools will they stand the test of time and constant usage?
I think they will - and I think I also made a good purchase that will save me a lot of time and frustration - as in THE right tool - FOR the right job and at the right time

An excellent replacement
Some time ago, some despicable little person decided to do some damage to my newly acquired deceased estate car - a 1990 Pug - and broke an indicator lens cover and unlike the latest models the older units were abit more robust so only the our was broken - so much for the preamble!
Trying to find a replacement here is like fining hens teeth in the local "wreckers"- with prices to match - but thanks to the internet, I found a brand new one - and in SPAIN no less.
Anyway to cut a long search short - i handed over me hard earned cash - not really expecting anything special or even spectacular - but it arrived quite quickly - well padded and packed against damage - and even more ideal was that the total price - including packing and postage was less than 1/3 the price people were asking for a slightly worn and scratched older version from a wreck.
Fantastic!!
