Oh what a lady
A listening treat for both Gershwin fans as well as Ella fans. I think this is a great pairing; Gershwin is one of the 20th century cultural icon while Ella has influenced american vocalist with her unique style and phrasing. Her voice is as clear and refreshing as sweet ice tea on a hot Mississippi day.

I think this was a great follow-up to her Unforgettable album. She does a great treatment of "What a difference a day makes" and "When I fall in love". If one's taste is soth century standards or torch singers then this is a must have.

Herbie's Best
This lives up to the hype. The essential Herbie Hancock is a must for both jazz fans and Herbie Fans. There are classics such as Watermelon man and Cantalope Island mixed in with Rockit. The two disk set works because it contains everything one would expect in such an anthology.
