Great eReader with light tablet options
1 of 1 found this helpful I know this review really should be reserved for the Nook Color product in general, but I actually wanted to comment on the refurbished units sold directly from Barnes & Noble on eBay. The device was in such an excellent condition and worked perfectly, I keep forgetting that its a refurb'd unit. Also, if you're going to order a refurb'd product, better to order from B&N than some random seller who's buying broken units then fixing them in their basement, right?
As far as value and functionality overall, you really have to understand what you personally need in a tablet or eReader and decide from there. If you need more communication-heavy devices and tons and tons of apps, then Nook Color is not the way to go. For me, all I needed was a book reader, news reader, and web browser, and this fit the bill perfectly. I personally don't need a $600 device. Also realize that its NOT stock Android and B&N's own customized version along w/ B&N's app store. Just because a device is Android OS does not mean its the same as stock Android. Research and learn and then make a choice. And when I say research, I mean really read and find out for yourself and do not go based on the ravings of lunatic fanboys (many of whom could be disguised as family and friends, be wary!).

Most reliable iPod to date?
3 of 3 found this helpful While a bit 'chunkier' than newer, flatter ipods... the 60GB Photo iPod is a TANK compared to new 5th generation iPods. I owned one of these for nearly 3 years with ZERO problems (of course, being careful with it also helps). This is an ipod that will be loyal to you as long as you don't abuse it. If you can do without video and just want a reliable jukebox, this ipod could be a good value.
**HEY STUPID PEOPLE, "REVIEWS" ARE FOR PRODUCTS IN GENERAL , NOT REVIEWS FOR EBAY OR SELLERS! IN OTHER WORDS, WHAT IS YOUR OPINION ON 60 GB PHOTO IPODS.. NOT YOUR OPINION ON THE BROKEN PIECE OF JUNK YOU PAID FOR ON EBAY!! THESE REVIEWS HAVE *NOTHING* TO DO W/ SELLERS. STOP LEAVING DUMB LAME REVIEWS! THAT'S WHAT FEEDBACK IS FOR YOU MORONS!! IF YOU'RE THIS STUPID, THEN NO WONDER SOME OF YOU GOT RIPPED OFF!! **
