nikon coolpix p5100
2 of 2 found this helpful the p5100 is a small and sturdy digital camera. at 12mp the image quality is as good as you'll need.
the screen at the back is large and easy to see and there is the added bonus of a viewfinder which not many digital cameras have these days. i also like the fact that i can select black and white which is good for those atmospheric shots.
there is plenty to choose from the menu which could be a bit bewildering at first but once you select your setting then you can leave it at that.
the flash is nice and powerfull and there is an anti red eye feature which leesens the effect but i don't think there is flash out there that can completely eliminate red eye.
all in all i am very pleased with this camera and will use it for many years to come.
