Top notch for residential needs
3 of 3 found this helpful First off, I did a lot of research in routers so that I get the best product for the price. The Linksys AC-1900 is living up to the hype. I have 5 kids and my wife is a stay-at-home mom who is currently homeschooling the kids. We have a real life scenario that places high demands from this router. 4 tablets, 2 laptops, 1 desktop (Wired to the router), 2 iPhones, a Smart TV (Wired to the router) sound bar (Wired to the router) and a 1TB external HDD (connected through USB 2.0). I use the DLNA option on this router and it is awesome. Linksys has an app that I've used from remote locations to manage settings and parental controls. I've had this router up and running for 3 weeks and it has not disappointed. Definitely the right choice for today's family and all the gadgets that need the world wide web
