A world class model kit.
I just recently purchased the Revell Germany 1 144 scale F/A-18 E Superhornet. It is another world class model from Revell one of the original world leaders in plastic model kits.
I've been building model airplanes for close to 40 years and I am a huge fan of Naval Aviation and this kit doesn't disappoint.
First of all the box art immediately catches your eye and I would cut the box top out from the rest of the box frame it and put it on my wall, it's that good.
Secondly, the instructions sheet is very clear, concise, very detail oriented and easy to understand.
Third, for a small model, the parts are true to scale, very very detailed and accurate. Revell nailed all the fine intricacies of things like landing gear wells, panel lines, weapons, even the catapult launch bar and tail hook on the Superhornet.
The decal sheet is another work of art on this kit. This model when finished will fit in the palm of your hand and the decal sheet has the accurate squadron colors and markings of VFA-31 Tomcatters CAG jet even right down to the Felix the Cat mascot holding a cartoon bomb in his hands.
To sum it all up, I am extatic with this kit. It is a very small model with very high detail that will not disappointed the experienced modeler.
I have had the honor of building and giving away many model aircraft to the United States Military and once I finish this kit it will be worthy to be given to one of our Naval Aviators.

Naval Aviation at its finest.
This book is amazing! It chronicles the men and women of US Naval Aviation. From the aviators, maintainers and enlisted alike you are put on the flight deck during the cat shot on the carrier, in the cockpit with the Blue Angel's to the enlisted sailors that keep the Jets in the air there is one common thread, excellence in everything they do, complete trust in each other and patriotism.
This book tells their stories and these hero's rock!!!
