Carlton ware research
The book helps immensely with the identification and dating of Carlton ware items. It's thoughtfully laid out in its efforts to be comprehensive. Cross referencing of patterns against shapes is well laid out.
The authors recognise their limits and aren't afraid to admit it.
The topic is a broad far ranging one. To be a complete guide would require a tome of substantial size.
This is an excellent attempt to cover the topic in meaningful useful way.
I usually only collect Derby figurines from the 18th Century, I only wish there was something as complete as this book in that field.
Recommended to collectirs of all levels of Carlton ware.
My compliments to the authors.

Missing parts don't help!
On the whole, the stand lacks stability unless guitars are placed carefully.
The guitars need to be angled just right to sit properly on the base and attention has to be used to seperate them from hitting each other.
Missing joiners/screws also don't give much confidence in the stand, although this could be an issue with individual seller.
Overall, it is a cheap basic stand. It does the job with care required.

Waste of money.
Nylon webbing is far to weak for its stated purpose.
Very flimsy and weak.
Webbing broke on first attempt to use it.
Not worth the money, even though it was cheap.
Would need to be stronger to hold down even nylon strings.
