The good, the bad, and the cheap
The product is good, but the volume dial doesn't work, and the automatic night time switch off also doesn't work. It rings at 2AM, and theres nothing you can do about it. But everything else is fire, the chime sounds like a pixel games, and the clock always chimes on time. There's only one thing that disheartened me, and that is when you first open the box and flip it over. The Made In China sticker does make it feel cheaper than it is. Not to say the product is only quality, just flip it over and look at the back pendulum, it feels like it was made from a tin can, and the plastic is cheaper than a Disney toy. The wood also confused me because the back case feels like hard cardboard, even though it looks like wood? Over all the clock is pretty good and mid, do I recommend this. Yes and no, if you want a high quality clock from the old world than go to your closet antique shop. But if you just want something for your living room, that might surprise your guest, than this is a good choice.
