Requires software intervention
A fellow at X-Plane forums has written some code which allows this thing to work with OS-X. You'll need it for Macs. Not a big deal. Search in the forum for xsaitekpanels.

Spicy chili sauce
Good stuff. My son loves it with chicken or tofu because he has eaten it all his life, seeing how he's Chinese. For the rest of us, eat too much and you'll need seat belts on the john.

Almost real
The levers have detents at the rearward ends of their travel, and in the case of the throttles, to get a true idle you have to gently nudge them past the stop and into the "hump" of the detente. But you have to be careful because if you go 1/100 of an inch too far, you get the auto reverse function...I think that's what it is, anyway. Might be just sudden full thrust. But it works fine with X-Plane.
