Solid metal, built like a tank. WIll last a LONG time.
This juicer is made of solid metal and built like tank. My mom had one like it when I was kid. As soon as it arrived, I washed it and used it to squeeze some of the oranges from the orange tree in our back yard. There is nothing like a glass of truly FRESH SQUEEZED orange juice from fresh picked oranges.
This juicer will come in handy, with an orange tree in our yard starting to drop fresh oranges. This juicer is built study enough to handle the use it's going to get. I highly recommend this item. It is a labor saver and a great product !!

Highly Recommended - Very good shredder.
2 of 2 found this helpful I bought one of these ten years ago at a big box retailer. I used for those ten years before it finally stopped working 3 weeks ago. I bought another one because it is so sturdy and dependable that I can't see buying any other type of shredder. And, you can place it atop any size size basket because it is adjustable. That means you can use a much larger waste basket and hold a lot more than those smaller, all in one units that cost over $100.00. I hope these are still available 9-10 years from now when this one gives up the ghost!!
