Easy setup and prinr
Easy connection to Wi-Fi and printing in no time. Updated from the older HL-2042 model only because it was USB and as it was and still is a reliable unit I updated to this HL-L2340. Recommended.

Android Apps and other issues
I purchased a Topfield TF-T6211 PVR as Topfield have a good reputation with PVRs. I liked the idea of an ANDROID based unit and wanted to run PLEX, NETFLIX and other TV apps from the android screen, with the combination of a TV recorder in the same box.
The TV output and recording work fine, but the Android side is pathetic. I installed the Apps okay but there is no way to run or control them using the included remote. There was originally an AIRMOUSE available for this unit that allowed better control of the Android Apps but I cannot find any for sale anywhere. The unit has not received firmware updates for ages and seems to have been abandoned by the manufacturer even though it was only released in October 2014.
Another annoyance is that the Free to Air 'Guide' is blank when I first switch to it to record a program. I have to switch to other channels and hope it populates the Guide when it feels like it. Not useful if wanting to quickly record a program from the guide!
Some units are apparently supplied with a free USB Wifi N dongle. Mine did not.
For me, I gave up trying to use the Android side and now just use for recording and watching Free to Air TV. This unit only records 2 channels at the same time, but for the same money I could have purchased a dedicated Topfield 4 channel PVR.
