I've used Lessons That Change Writers for more than 20 years of teaching in public and private schools to help structure my writing curriculum for upper elementary and middle school students. The lessons presented include genre study for fiction, some poetic forms, and essay, strategies for teaching spelling and grammar conventions, topic generation, and principles of good writing. Available is a separate notebook of lesson blackline masters. The material in the book is adaptable to a broad range of student abilities.

Not a solo performance

Given the market price for this out-of-print CD, this Seamus Egan CD is a goos value. The condition of the disc and its case was excellent. I have an earlier recording by Seamus Egan as a solo artist that I enjoy very much and assumed When Juniper Sleeps was Seamus Egan also playing solo rather than with other musicians, hence the three stars. The musicianship is excellent, just wasn't after a group performance.
