Worth what I paid
Split point means low web pressure to locate those holes and it works fine, but the gold coating sure ain't TiN or anything like that, it disappeared after the first kiss of work.
I'd buy it again - hopefully I won't have to too soon.

You get what you pay for
You get what you pay for - in this case, not much.
Pros: The belts fit and track ok and are strong enough not to self destruct. Oh, and they're cheap.
Cons: They wear out super fast, ok, at this price it doesn't matter too much as long as you know it - just buy a bajillion of them. The biggest problem is the seam where the two ends are bonded. It's a simple lap joint with no attempt at thinning so, when you have something running on the belt during a grind it's ka-choonk, ka-choonk, ka-choonk and your workpiece being gouged and thrown all over the place.
Overall: They kinda get the job done but wear out quickly and make it hard to control the grind with any precision.
Paying a little more from a local supplier with better bonding gear and belt material gave me belts which run smooth and last much longer. So I won't be going this way again.

Does what it says
2 of 3 found this helpful Good connection, easy install, does what it says.
Only reason it doesn't get five stars is that I hate gear that sits there flashing a light forever, slowly draining (albeit by a minuscule amount) the very battery it's there to help charge.
Would much prefer a button on the connector so the light only flashes when I want to check the battery condition.
