Nice headphones w/Great sound but only so-so noise cancelling
These headphones come nicely packaged with a sturdy carrying case and nice design. The sound quality is very good, and the pads are comfortable - they are certainly worth the money. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the noise cancelling function. There was very little of it that I could tell, so if noice cancelling is your major reason for buying headphones, I would look elsewhere. I found the Able Planet headphones to have better noise cancelling with comparable sound quality.

Bose is a Leader for a reason - They deliver the goods.
I own QC 3s, QC 15s, and these OE2i headphones. Bose makes an absolutely superior product. The sound quality on the OE2i model is amazing: The mixes are even and full, and they have the capacity to play at very loud intervals. They are also incredibly lightweight and fold up to almost nothing. The pads are soft & comfortable, and the design is pleasant. The nice thing about the OE2is, compared with the noise cancelling models is that the OE2is don't require a battery, so you never have to worry about keeping one handy.
In addition to everything else, Bose's customer service is stellar. Definitely worth the money and make a great gift.

iPod Mini
This is probably my favorite iPod style.
Love: Good size, love the colors, simple to use, very reliable & durable, fewer mechanical issues
Not Love: Only 4-6G memory. Bummer.
