Smooth and wet
2 of 2 found this helpful This italic is smoother and less crisp than others, which gives it more options for different papers not to bite into the paper. Just what I was looking for. Also very wet, almost too wet. No need to press down or use a lubricated ink. Ink flow keeps up with fast writing no problem. I am not a calligrapher, just a letter writer, so bear that in mind. No "railroading" to speak of. Pelikan brand, so quality is there. Less than the usual price also.
