works well for me!
This battery-powered device works great for real corks--it is easy to remove a cork from a bottle and then the cork from the device. I own one of these and the batteries have not had to be replaced in two years! This is a second one I bought for a friend. The only drawback is that it is hard to eject man-made (non-cork) corks. I have to attempt to hold the cork with my fingers or wedge a utensil between the cork and side of the device so the twirled metal puller can work its way out of the non-cork. But since non-corks are harder to remove from almost any wine opener, I would not let this preclude purchasing the item!

Good value
I have several sets of Member's Mark 450 sheets and love them all. They are comfortable and launder well.
