Now with a clock function but uses button batteries
This is the third timer of this style that I have bought. The quality is okay but not as good as the first one. On a positive note, this one includes a clock function that the previous ones did not. On a negative note, I am disappointed that it no longer uses a AAA battery but two button batteries (which were included). Overall, it's okay and will do the job.

Solid, compact and lightweight but the lenses are not good
The lenses have an overall green/blue tint and are much less than 30x60 (more like 8x21). It is not possible to adjust the focus of the right hand lens to match the left hand lens focus (even at maximum adjustment), so the view is never clear. The left lens is quite good but the right lens is slightly blurry and hard to focus at any time. The binoculars seem to be solidly built and are very compact and light weight, but the poor quality of the lenses make it hard to recommend them for anything but the most basic viewing. I tried pulling them apart to see if I could improve the focus ability of the right hand eyepiece but there was nothing I could do. You could use the left lens as a monocular, but as a pair of binoculars they are not very good. Oh well, you get what you pay for.
