great gangster pic
any early Lee Marvin bad guy film is wonderful, He has been called " a snarl with ajuggernaught behind it"
it also has more than a few surprises in it and it is in technicolor and sadly out of print

like Deathproof a horror film for misogenists
ITS actually a horrifying show and the characters are monsters, but like all great horror films it has the atmosphere of a bad dream, a great survivalist horror film, beautifully made.

The Colombo cigar box set is simply amazing. Cannot understand why this did not get released in the states. I do wish I read Japanese. I think they even included the script for the original Colombo episode “prescription murder” I would love to have read that.
But that aside fantastic packaging. It’s all here. Can’t wait to watch it. I’m retiring this summer so I’m saving it to spend the summer months watching Colombo catch the bad guy. Hefty price tag but it buys quality.
