it's beautiful. exquisite. obviously im in love
the day i don't rate an elliott smith album 5 stars is the day my consciousness is truly lost to the void. & that day cannot come bc now i have this. if you listen once, prepare to join the cult.
(if only Stickman had made it onto the record.. sigh.. look up "Grand Mal Studio Rarities" for the songs not included)

Must-have for any elliott collector
I really love this record/photo book combo. There are some signed by photographer JJ Gonson, but the colored vinyl and discount (for cosmetic damage on the book cover) sold me on this one. The book is big for the amount of pictures and text, but there is also a CD version that is smaller and therefore a bit more efficient use of page space (and it's so cute!) But I had to have the vinyl and the larger book is nice to keep on a coffee table and flip through whenever you're feeling nostalgic. The choice of songs is pretty solid, although I do think the few songs on the release of Alternate Versions easily could've been combined with this.. but you know.. capitalism. Anyway I'm very satisfied with the item, I look forward to coming home each day and running it while I clean or paint. Highly recommended! But then again I highly recommend ANY elliott album-- they're all amazing, you can't go wrong!
