It's a very narrow book
This book is surprisingly brief for the price - it's only 30 pages long. Okay, so it's cheapish. But if you're looking for a comprehensive guide, this book may not be for you. If you just want a concise how-to book, go for it.

This book has a lot of great information
I loved this book. It has some nice spells, and also some not nice spells (which aren't for me, because I am a Wiccan and we don't do bad spells). This book has a lot of great information.

To Amethyst or not to Amethyst
Okay, so it has amethyst in it, but it is encased in epoxy resin (kind of a plastic), the whole pendulum is not solid amethyst. How this effects the accuracy of the pendulum is out for debate.
