An affordable handheld
Performance is good. But, you do get what you pay for. I'm not crazy about the male sma rf connector, but an adapter can be purchased for a few bucks.
If you talk a lot through local repeaters, then battery life is okay as long as you are using low power (1 watt). It eats battery life on high power (4 watts).
The dual standby is a nice feature also. You can quickly switch between frequencies as needed. Overall a great buy. I recommend buying two or three at theses prices.

A simple solution to boost your weak signal
This is plug and play, basically. It performs just as Wilson claims. A great product, but could use improvement. I bought this to use in my home and car. I live the mountains of kentucky, miles from any tower. I get one bar if I stick my phone in the window alone. With this, I can get two, sometimes three bars, and can browse the internet. It does get hot after a while; it needs a cooling scheme. I actually took it apart and added a small 15mm fan and a few air holes. Now it's free from any problems just don't sit too close to it because it can output as much as 1800 milliwatts of microwave rf energy.
Pros: small and compact
Plug and play
Up to 1.8 watts maximum output power
Cons: needs proper cooling or heatsinking as it gets hot
It isn't shielded to prevent RF exposure; microwaves can be dangerous.
