The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh (Blu-Ray, 2019, Disney Exclusive) (NEW, Sealed)

Where is the Theatrical Cut of the Film?
This is a film I’ve wanted to add to my collection for a long time, especially on Blu Ray. The original DVD release sold out very quickly, so it’s nice to be able to get this. A BIG However... This release could have benefited by having the Theatrical version included. What we have here are the 3 episode airings from The Wonderful World of Disney, which is nice to see how it was handled for broadcast. Played together though... well, you hear that theme song over and over. Lots of repetition to get through to get back to the story. Releasing a Theatrical cut would show how good this little gem really is.

A 70s Classic Done Well on Twilight Time
You can't get much better than 70s Hal Ashby. Add in Robert Towne's wonderful script and great performances all around and this is one is kind of a must.
The Man From Laramie - Twilight Time OOP (Blu-ray) James Stewart, Anthony Mann

Perhaps Stewart's Best Western
The Man from Laramie is one of the finest films released by Twilight Time. Dir Anthony Mann, Columbia, 1955. The Blu Ray presentation is stellar. Due to it being a limited release, which sold out quickly, it goes for big bucks these days. Hence my "good value" rating. That has nothing to do with the quality of the film. I got it for a fair price. I just wish more people could see this fine production. I encourage you to seek it out.
