This Item Is Awesome
I've been using this product for over 10 years. I have literally over fifty in my house holding everything from mirrors to shelves to displays and regular picture frames. So much easier than drilling a hole and putting an arbor in it. The hole is so small, that if you make a mistake, just pull it out and put a little white out on it..using a toothpick. Plus, you can use it over and over again for years to come. I absolutely LOVE this item. One of the top inventions if you ask me.

Haynes has always been awesome
Been using Haynes manuals all my life. Always been simple to understand with a great index and troubleshooting section to help you...nothing else to say.

Seat assembly has a hole through it, the new one doesn't...Does it make a difference?
On our Victor SR250C model, the seat assembly (the T shaped brass piece) had a hole all the way through it and one hole on the side. The new one in the package was solid through and through. I used the new one, and have had no issues whatsoever as I have used the gauge multiple times. Note: be sure to check the position of the brass end cap...if memory serves, the smaller diameter should be facing the spring....but please don't take my word for it, just REALLY pay attention to it's position=very important.
