Perfect Compact Vac

Large and Accurate
While not the newest in Garmin's Fenix line, I upgraded from Fenix 2 in order to be able to receive HRM data for swimming. A 20% off coupon made the price right, and I'm happy with the purchase. The Fenix 3 does offer a larger watch face with color, and there are some additional features not available on the 2. The titanium band is also nice. Fenix 5 has more features, but my cost/benefit analysis indicated 3 was the best choice for me.

Nice fitness band
3 of 3 found this helpful This Garmin Vivosmart HR does a lot for its size and price. I already owned a Fenix 2, but wanted something to give constant HR without wearing a chest-band. Vivosmart provides that plus notifications from the phone plus sleep diagnostics plus analysis of "activity". All of this integrates through Garmin's Connect application, so it's providing a lot more information than what I was getting from the Fenix alone. I've worn both devices for several workouts, and while the chest-band HRM used with the Fenix is more accurate while working out, the Vivo is generally closer than I expected in comparison. I'm well pleased with the Vivo. Wish the screen (digital display) was slightly brighter, but the same applies to Fenix.
