Not as good as the first, but..
0 of 1 found this helpful Bioshock 2 is not better than its predecessor, but that doesn't mean it isn't a competent game itself. I don't think it sold as well either as you can find it easily for under $20 and for that price it becomes a must have. Not only does Bioshock 2 have great game play, the story and setting is what really sets it apart. You don't need to play the first game to enjoy the story here (although you should since the original Bioshock is very cheap too), it will still make sense and you will be able to follow what happens. There is multiplayer in Bioshock 2 and while it is nothing special, it is fun. Bioshock is also a pretty long game as well and is a game that you will want to revisit later on. While Bioshock 2 is not as a good as Bioshock, it is still worth of your attention. For under $20, it is too good to pass up.

If you got tired of Halo, this is the best reason to come back
All I can say about Halo Reach is wow. I loved the original Halo, Halo 2 was pretty good (although I didn't get into the multiplayer), Halo 3 was just okay, and I never really got to play ODST. After Halo 3 my love for the Halo series was waning out. However that all changed with Reach. This feels like Halo, but not at the same time. The story and single player play tremendously well and I was literally blown away.
The customizations options are deep, the single player story is well told, and the gameplay is very tight. Moving on to the multiplayer, I can't even begin to tell you how much fun it is. I normally don't play shooters online and this is one game that I play regularly online. To me what also shows just how great Reach is, normally when I beat a game I sell it and move on, that is not the case this time. Just because I finished the fight, doesn't mean I am finished with this game.

It still holds up to the AAA releases of today...an absolute classic
I could write a long review about why you should play this game, but then I would be wasting that time when you should be ACTUALLY playing the game! I have been meaning to get around to playing Alan Wake for a very long time, but have always had a big interest in it. I finally got around to it and I beat it in less than a week. I could not put it down, which is not like me when it comes to games. I wanted to see what happened next and anytime I stopped I felt that I was missing out. This one of the most under-rated and under appreciated games of this console generation. If you have not played this game you need too...end of story.
