I was born and raised in Montana my grandparents were all raised on homesteads so doing it yourself is deeply instilled in me. Over the course of my 70 years I have been a machinist and welder, furniture maker, scenic design professor, theatrical technical director, hand tool woodworker. My grandfather started me using hand tools from the time I was about 8 years old so I have a deep respect for taking care of tools. I enjoy bringing unused and forgotten tools back to work again and putting them into the hands of folks who will enjoy them.
Generally I only do as much as necessary to make a hand tool function as well as or better than new. I try to allow as much of the hard earned patina to remain, and NO I'm not one of those folks who consider "rust" to be patina. I believe all tools were made to be used. Like many tool users I have my "shelf queens" but even they are often put to work. I hope you enjoy the tool you purchase from me and that it will be eventually passed along.

Good product, but expensive.
I bought this to modify for use on a Worksharp3000 it worked well with a lot of adaptation. I do feel it's over priced for what it is.
