0 of 1 found this helpful Quiet than expected. I had a portable LG AC once and that wasn't quite as this one. Fairly large living room, dining room and kitchen, open concept about 2200 square feet. I could have gone for the 24000 BTU, but I'm glad I chose this one. Fits exactly in my dining window and with the help of a circulating fan on a low speed, this thing is a beast. The energy saver kicks in at the right temperature, will see on my next energy bill. I tried the heat for a few minutes, not much to tell how it will perform in a cold winter month. I was very close to authorizing a company to install a brand name ductless AC unit with the same BUT for $5000. Okay.... All I had to do was run a 220v line from a sub panel and, viola, i was in business. Not BAD.
