Great thing, but be careful installing it!

I’ve got 2002 Volvo XC70 with HU-613 radio. The GROM adapter is a finding, fairly easy to install, works great, seek buttons on the steering wheel work great with the iPhone 6s. The only thing you should be aware of is how to properly instal it. In the installation guide it written that they recommend to unplug the car battery before any work to the electronics done, so it should be written YOU MUST UNPLUG the battery, otherwise you will get SRS-airbag service urgent warning on the dash. It happens if you unplug the climate control module with battery plugged in. Well, if you get into such a situation then don’t get too upset, find a local Volvo specified repair shop and they will reset the code for something around 40$ (may be less or more) and you are all set with beautiful media system without any “ugly solutions”!
