Hey! Thanks for checking out my listings. I'm just a blue collar mechanic with a few hobbies like coin collecting, and a side business of taxidermy. coin collecting was/is a great hobby but I'll admit I got carried away a bit, and now it's time to downsize. I also requently list tools I no longer use and taxidermy in its various stages. all ethically sourced. If you see something you like, feel free to send me a message and maybe we can work out a better deal.

Single Flute Hand Held Post Hole Digger - Dirty Hand Tools
23 May 2018
Dirty hands post hole digger yuck.
Got the thing in, unpackaged it. Had to file the female ends of the shock absorber and the auger for them to slide together. Then I had to disassemble the gear box "transmission" to ensure the bearings had grease because they way the grease fitting is installed, there is no way to grease it without disassembly. A 90 degree fitting would work if you had one. Lastly, from the bottom of the gear box "transmission" to the bottom of the fishtail is only 36". In what backwoods state do you only need 36"?. Most town building departments require a min. Of 42". Drills okay through wet loose soil, but forget it if you have the possibility of clay 12" below the surface. Disappointed, but it's just another life lesson I'll be taking up the rear.
