THE BARKLEYS & THE HOUNDCATS 2 DVD set USED - GOOD

Great to see these two oldies again

I remembered watching both these shows when I was 10 in 1972. I was especially hoping "The Barkleys" would return on DVD someday, and now, it has. These shows bring back a few good childhood memories. Definitely worth the money, and now I'll be able to watch all episodes of these two shows again, anytime I want!

Dependable recordable discs

I had to reactivate my DVD-R recorder (a bigger DVD recorder I have with a VCR deck has to have the tuner repaired), and these discs work very well. The picture quality is decent, and fresh discs have no problem formatting in the recorder; they can be recorded on immediately.

Uncut, funny, and a pleasure

I was getting sick and tired of watching ABC hack up and/or speed up the Peanuts specials, especially this one. So I decided to buy the DVD of this special, and now I not only have the luxury of watching this when I like, it is also *uncut,* giving the storyline more sense. It was also a pleasure to see "There's No Time for Love, Charlie Brown," which was included as a bonus feature on this disc. I was only 11 when that first aired in 1973, and it bought back many pleasant childhood memories. So, with this disc, I now own the majority of - if not all - the Peanuts holiday specials on DVD. It was money well spent.
