Great camera for the money. Can grow with your abilities.

This camera is a great value for the money. Great picture and video quality. It's also small enough to leave on your desk to grab for quick pix instead of your phone. Small downside would be a bit of a learning curve to the screens and menu systems and autofocus functionality. You will hit this with any move from point and shoot to fully functional and this camera does have great point and shoot functionality if that's what you want. YouTube has a LOT of videos on this camera since it was/is so popular. Easy to find how-to stuff.
