Very good substitute for the original
1 of 1 found this helpful Given that Braun apparently no longer supports the Series 3, this is a good, grey market (or licensed) substitute for the original. My shaver has plenty of life remaining and I was not ready to chunk it. The S Korean blade is a different design from the OEM but still does the job 95% as well. It does not seem to be quite as sharp, so I might spend a couple seconds more in the thicker patches of beard. My compliments to the Braun folks, you never know what you've got until you don't; and to the S Koreans as well, very happy with their results.

A few extra dollars up front is worth the aggravation saved down the road
This is the best price I can find for a genuine Kubota filter. And a little research shows me that although it is pricier than other compatible 3rd party filters, the extra expense is justified by avoiding problems potentially introduced with cheaper alternatives - more surface area means it will do it's job longer and the filter medium traps smaller particulates from the fuel than other "compatibles."
