Good Design but Good Material?

I'm on the fence with these OEM replacements. Plastic is a bit more brittle than the yellow ones that came off my 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited (the first one broke right away as I tried to install.)

Perhaps a Better Design - Perfect Fit

A little bit different in design, but so far after several uses only, seems great. Fit perfectly. (I have a 3 burner Park Avenue model Char-Broil purchased years ago from Costco.)
