Nice heavy duty rubber case for the price!
This case protects the Samsung Tab E 8.0 very well. The back camera opening has a deep well for added lens protection. The sides are textured for better grip. The design is appealing, eye catching even. Like turtles?, this might make this even more appealing to you! This case was designed with drop protection in mind. The corners have shock absorbing protection. You can lay it on its front (screen side) and not worry about scratches because the bevel is quite thick and raised. The inside has a wavy pattern which I think helps with more shock absorption and helps to distribute any heat buildup as well. All tactile buttons are covered (home button, power button, and volume buttons). Screen bottom touch buttons are left exposed, as they should be, but are still well protected because of the thick bevel. Be aware that this case will add considerable size and weight to the tablet! My large hands can still palm the sides, but I can imagine how others might have trouble with this. I had someone able to palm the device (fingers and thumb gripping sides as palm touches the back) without the case on, but then struggled with the same hold when the case was on due to the added bulk. Obviously added noticeable weight too. This case is made for PROTECTION, so added size and weight are a given. Still those two reasons are why my 5 stars rating has been reduced to a 4 stars rating.

Not worth the price!
This is made of plastic, NOT metal. Of course I knew that going in, but it's not worth it at all. Avoid this item unless you like buying substandard stuff (hey, some people do I guess). Just drop your keys ONCE on a hard surface (tiles, pavement, hardwood, etc) and you'll have ruined it once and for all. Now, be aware that mine arrived cracked with NO fault to the seller who DID give me a refund (superior customer service on their part), but that is neither here nor there when it comes to the product itself which is what this review is all about. Key cover looks pretty, but NOT that pretty, if you know what I mean. The "idea" of this product with its nice look is my only reason to bump a 1 star to a 2 stars rating. Take it or leave it, the choice is yours as it has always been.

Best hard case for Pax2!
Hands down, this is the absolute best hard case on the market. The elimination of smell factor while storing and transporting is phenomenal! Sure it adds size to just carrying around the Pax2 on its own, but what the heck do you expect for this level of protection and smell detection elimination?! The SkunkCase branding on the bottom is a classy touch. It's the "S" skunk tail logo graphic by itself etched/engraved into the plastic. Design and craftsmanship is superb! The latch flip top with rubber ring seal is sturdy. I received mine with an extra rubber ring seal too! Be aware the rubber ring seal can fall off if you are careless and not paying attention. I am careful, so not an issue with me. Foam piece inside prevents rattling, again NOT secured to the inside bottom, but that seems intentional and just makes sense. Again just be aware and careful and you should have no problems. This is an all around great investment for protection and transportation of your Pax2. You own a Pax2?...then you NEED to get this case!!! I don't know what else to suggest to you...
