CRG Bar end Mirror
0 of 1 found this helpful The mirror is pretty nice quality. I just put it on a couple days ago so it hasn't stood the test of time yet but so far I like it. It was a bit unusual at first looking at the mirror on the end of the bar. The standard mirrors are like right in front of your face so you don't have to turn your head at all. With this one you have to turn your head a bit to look at it. Sort of like in a car I guess. It's not too bad. I got used to it.
The mirror is smaller then standard mirrors but the curve on the mirror does give you a nice view. Since it's on the end of the bar it can see more of what's behind you then the standard mirrors that are closer to the middle so one mirror is actually enough. It sticks out enough that you can see the left side of the road and what's behind you. Even a bit to the right of you. As I said though it is small and the curve just makes things a bit smaller. If you like a really good view I wouldn't go with bar end mirrors.
Aesthetics wise I really like it. Makes the bike look a lot more clean cut. I put them on an SV650 2007. The standard mirrors just don't fit the bike at all. Personally I thought they were hideous. So I got rid of them and put this one on and it looks nice.
Install was really simple. I put it on without taking off my bar end weight. I had to cut down the grip a few millimeters but I still have enough space for a my hands in gloves. If you have really large hands it might be tight cuz for me it's just just enough.
So yeah overall I really like it and recommend it for others.
