Perfect Ultralight Tripod
I am an ultralight backpacker with one exception; I carry my Canon EOS 60D. I normally carry a 1 pound tripod and this one will allow me to shave close to 1/2 a pound off. The quick release is cool and the head does a good job of locking the camera movement. Care must be taken with the legs because they move freely without locking like a heavier tripod but,in my opinion the weight savings make this a good trade-off.
