it works

Sony Ericsson Z520a or Z525
0 of 1 found this helpful Note: this item was listed as Sony Ericsson Z520a (AT&T) when I bought it on eBay, but the phone's menu/status screen says z525. I went from the Motorola RAZR V3 (screen died), to my old reliable 2005 model Sony Ericsson z500a, to this one. This phone's call quality is good. This phone has additional features, like push-to-talk, mobile e-mail, camera, Bluetooth, and useful apps. The screen on this phone is colorful and easy to see, even in sunlight. The keypad has contoured keys, nice backlighting, and an easy to use, contoured menu-toggle-thing, top-center. The menus are easy to follow, and there's help/tutorial features if you don't get it on your own. This phone is not as thin as a RAZR, not as wide as RAZR, easy to open and hold. The battery seems to last long enough that it hasn't run down yet. I use it less than 1 or 2 hours talk time per day and charge it every evening. Overall, I like this phone. I would describe it as user-friendly, and technically competent. I give it a rating = Good. Possibly Excellent.
