Could be because the box wasn’t a new flat rate box but was sort of patched together and covered with brown paper. Why not use a flat rate box free from PO? That said, the item was well packed, but I wish seller hadn’t used styrofoam packing peanuts which are a nuisance and not recyclable. I bought a similar plate this week, arrived in a flat rate box in bubble wrap with newspaper padding, no problem. Otherwise very pleased with the plate, thank you.
