A Must for Mercury Outboard Re-powering Projects
More options than I needed, but was able to purchase at a lower price than some of the lower optioned models. I have owned this before on another boat and it is a necessary addition to know all the performance / operation details and best protect my new Mercury motor. Moreover, it has many other features that provide information for the most fuel efficient operation and combines multiple gauges into one, replacing almost all of my old analog gauges. It also offers the capability for connecting redundant 2" link gauges that have an analog appearance, but are simple digital plug and daisy-chain connected (I added a trim link gauge as I always like seeing where the motor is set). It also "talks" through NEMA 2K to Lowrance and other GPS units that can overlay display information from the Merc-monitor. This single unit truly simplified and modernized my console wiring and re-power to a new outboard.
