Well priced for a kit
3 of 3 found this helpful Tank is well made silicone is clean and sharp. The base (stand) and corners are removable for individuals that wish to have just a clean starfire tank. The Sunsun filter is ok and has a surface skimmer rated at 400L/H. The light (Sunsun) is a bright and crisp white light that will grow plants well with or without co2 injection. With a Kelvin of 6500 to 7500 K it will show off the inhabitants and colours naturally.The tank is only 25cm depth and I thought that the light would take up too much room on top, there is plenty of room to get hands in for maintenance. CONS the filter cartridges have been hard to source so for individuals that are looking at using the filter look into the marina slim power filter cartridges they may just fit. NO glass lid

Made to Last, Value for Money
1 of 1 found this helpful It's easy to set up and maintain, its also self priming upon electricity failure as long as it hasn't broken the syphon. (Intake tube) The cartridges are easily changed and can be adapted to suit other media's as well. I run planted tanks and do not use carbon.

Body shell is Durable will not warp over time
its super quiet you can run this filter in a bedroom.
Being an AQUA ONE PRODUCT you can Rely on replacement parts that can be sourced through your local dealer or online.
one negative to this filter is cleaning the intake tube bend. It can be hard to clean even with bottle brushes but that's not a reason not to buy it. Regular cleaning of the unit will stop build up in that area.

EASY TO USE AND READ
Good Product and easy to use. Instructions are simple and colour is easily determined by the colour chart. The Bottles MUST be shaken prior to use. the Instructions do not state this. The first test i did was a false reading.
for the Amount of tests for the price compared to other Equivalents it's worth it.
