Arturia Keylab 49
It was a difficult decision between the Keylab 88 and one of the lesser models. Really wanted the 88, but already have a Roland 88 key weighted action that I am very happy with and works well as a midi controller, so could not justify spending the extra money for another 88. I purchased the Arturia V Collection 3 a while back. Upgraded it to v.4 and then on to v.5 as the upgraded versions were released. It was ownership of that software that spurred my interest in the Keylab series. I loved the idea of the Keylab's close integration with the V Collection (which IMHO is a fabulous product. Virtual versions of all the greatest Analog Synths that I could never afford, and the virtual versions are actually better than the original analog versions because of all the cool features that Arturia has added, and is proof that all good things come to those who wait) I read all the reviews I could find to see what others thought. Most of the reviews I saw were positive overall, and one must always take the negative comments of others with a grain of salt. Sometimes reviewers get hung up on little things. Ultimately, I chose to purchase the Keylab 49 model. I liked the placement of the bend and modulation wheels better with this model, and decided that it was all the buttons, knobs and sliders that I wanted more than the actual keyboard. Ever since it arrived, I don't want to work anymore, all I want to do is play with it. I am completely surprised by how much I love the action of the keyboard. It is so fast! And I usually hate using a non weighted action for piano patches, but I am happy to use this keyboard for all patches, piano and otherwise. I honestly can't say enough good things about the Keylab 49. It works equally well for controlling my various external midi devices, like my Roland XV-3080. When comparing quality of what you get with price, it is an awesome piece. I did not get paid for this review.

inkjet waterslide decal paper
When placing a decal on a dark background you need the white background decal paper just so that the decal will show up. Be sure to set your print job to the highest quality printing, and be sure to clear coat the decals before submerging them in water. It's fun and easy to create your own awesome decals to decorate your projects with. Anything you can print can be a decal.
