Garmin Nuvi 650
1 of 1 found this helpful Bought this unit for my wife for Christmas. Bought it for Garmin's reputation and for features. Also got a very good price, as this is a discontinued item. This unit was refurbished by Garmin, and came with a one year Garmin guarantee. Since it was a discontinued item, I was concerned about map updates. I contacted Garmin, and was told that my unit had been loaded with the 2009 maps, and that updates would be available. We're happy! Used the Garmin on a recent trip over the holidays, and all worked well. This unit also has an MP3 player, and we downloaded a book which we listened to. We honestly get a kick out of the slightly perturbed "recalculating" voice we hear when we choose a different route than the one suggested..."
