I don't understand this section and cannot respond to it

Good stuff
I have always like Adams golf clubs and these - for an 85 year old - do a lot of the work that's needed. I wondered if the hybrid configuration would make a difference in the feel and the result. The answer to both issues is that they certainly do make a difference. I used them at the driving range on the first day and I thought they must have gotten new balls. I checked and the range guy said they were the same tired old balls I usually complain about. I said they go farther than usual. He told me it was something I was drinking.
IT WAS THE CLUBS, and when I played the following day I always ended up a lot closer to the green and the pin.
Adams makes very nice golf clubs.
