You can't beat cast iron for baking bread.
I received the well-packaged parcel in a reasonable amount of time, so kudos to the seller, but the dutch oven itself is amazing; it has transformed my baking to another level. Trust me, cast iron is the way to go and this baby is big enough for whatever you have to bake. Due to it's long oval shape, I can actually put a full size loaf pan inside it for sourdough, but there's enough room for two boule-style loaves side by side if you want to go that route. It's very well made and I'm now a big fan of Bayou Classic cast iron, right alongside my venerable Lodge round dutch oven.

Exactly What I Was Looking For
These downspout diverters are simple, but well-made; I was beginning to wonder if anyone made them anymore. The big-box home improvement stores offer only the bare minimum when it comes to gutters and downspouts.
