Neurotic Dogs
1 of 2 found this helpful I bought this because I had read "How to Live with a Neurotic Cat" and loved it so much I thought this would be just as entertaining. Sad to say, it was a disappointment. It seemed that the author was trying too hard to be funny and alot of the examples of "neurotic" dogs just didn't seem to be very funny.

Informative book
1 of 1 found this helpful This book is hard-hitting (no pun intended), both for the abuser and abused. It shed some light on the motives of many abusers and is very helpful in validating the different emotions that the victim of the abuse feels. It does, however, give a pretty bleak view in terms of recovery, which I felt would leave many abused feeling like there would be little hope of their man being able to change (not my experience--mine did change...with man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible).

Neurotic Cats
I bought this book because I had seen it at my vet's and thought it was hilarious. The author really understands the nuances of the relationship between cats and their owners. A "must read" for every cat lover!
