Maybe the best Zelda game to date
3 of 4 found this helpful My bias comes from a good place - I played the original Link to the Past on the SNES when I was 13 and didn't know how much I loved it at the time. Over the years, I played ALTTP several times over, on Game Boy Advance and emulators. But A Link Between Worlds is both a tribute to A Link to the Past and a reimagining of the original. It is a near-perfect game, getting rid of almost all the things in A Link to the Past that you didn't like but also adding a whole different story in a familiar world. If you have played and loved A Link to the Past, you will LOVE A Link Between Worlds. It's fast-paced but open, and it has great graphics and gameplay. There are new items, new puzzles, new characters, all in the familiar world of A Link to the Past. It's a fantastic reimagining, and out of all the Zelda titles, this may be there very best there is.
