Great knife
Received knife only a few days after ordering. Was packaged well. Everything on knife is in good order. Blade is ground evenly on both sides, bolsters are tight. Nice brushed finish on bolsters. Have not detected any fractures in blade which are common with Damascus steel. I'm very glad I bought this. Had to finish the edge, which is fine by me. This took some time, not because blade was overly dull, but because steel is good quality and very hard. Shaves now.

New Schallers are different
Tuners that were sent to me are a new version and a little different than the one shown in the picture. Locking wheel on the ones sent to me is a little smaller and more streamlined looking. Also a big improvement on the locking device. I like this new style better than the old. The old ones were also great. The only tuners I will use on a 6/1 headstock.
